"O Coro dos Corpos" on display at MANOEUVRE

The exhibition 'O Coro dos Corpos' (The Choir of Bodies) by painter Butcheca will remain on display at the MANOEUVRE Gallery until Monday, 7 August.

Because there are indeed many 'bodies' that, on this occasion, invite us to enter the world of an artist who also carries the whole World within him. Butcheca's pictorial work is part of a narrative that is intrinsically and intimately part of the human being; in fact, one of the most important aspects that shapes us is the ability to tell stories. A painter of unreal atmospheres, with colours that seem to be in perpetual escape; much like the bodies, whose obvious movement seems to make them traverse the paintings. And so, what we see now in "O Coro dos Corpos" (The Choir of Bodies) is a sort of passage, where numerous paths loom: those of the body, of movement, of harmony, of dialogue, of vision, of meaning.
