Until 19 June, next Monday, you have the opportunity to continue or start admiring the unique paintings by Lulu Maparangue, a Mozambican painter born in 1982 who is currently presenting his solo exhibition "Os Pêndulos das Figuras" (Figurative Pendulums) at the MANOEUVRE Gallery.

This exhibition brings together 27 artworks of variable size and detail, oscillating between meticulousness and amplitude, emphasising lines through drawing and highlighting colours through painting. From 2019 to 2023, and following a crystal-clear construction line, in some cases working in series, the painter defends his vision as a tireless and intermittent mediator: between day and night, between light and darkness, between heaven and earth, and between life and dreams.

Lulu Maparangue is part of the core group of artists closely supported by MANOEUVRE, whose works are also exhibited at the 5th Gaia International Art Biennial until the 8th of next month. Additionally, his solo exhibition will be on display until the end of July 2023 at the MANOEUVRE Gallery in Matosinhos.
